FONDAZIONE QUERINI STAMPALIA ONLUS

In the museum you can see18th century and neoclassical furniture, porcelains, bisques, sculptures, globes and paintings from the 14th to the 20th century, most of which are from the Venetian school. An atmosphere of a noble residence is bestowed by mirrors and lamps of Murano glass and fabrics woven to historical designs. Amongst the works on display are paintings by Giovanni Bellini, Lorenzo di Credi, Jacopo Palma il Vecchio, Bernardo Strozzi, Marco and Sebastiano Ricci, Giambattista Tiepolo, Pietro Longhi, Gabriel Bella and a sketch by Antonio Canova. Within the 16th century residence, on the ground floor, is the area that was restored in 1963 by Carlo Scarpa, which has recently undergone rigorous conservation work.

Nel Museo d’ambiente mobili settecenteschi e neoclassici, porcellane, biscuit, sculture, globi e dipinti dal XIV al XX secolo, per lo più di scuola veneta, tramandano l’atmosfera della dimora patrizia tra specchi e lampadari di Murano e stoffe tessute su antichi disegni. Tra le opere esposte, pitture di Giovanni Bellini, Lorenzo di Credi, Jacopo Palma il Vecchio, Bernardo Strozzi, Marco e Sebastiano Ricci, Giambattista Tiepolo, Pietro Longhi, Gabriel Bella e un bozzetto di Antonio Canova. Nel corpo del palazzo cinquecentesco risalta al piano terra l'area restaurata nel 1963 da Carlo Scarpa, oggetto di un recentissimo, rigoroso intervento conservativo.
